Emérgéntly Case Study in Mexican Conference
as a facilitated plenary case study video for El Encuentro Internacional sobre Equipos de Trabajo:
Spiral into a Regenerative Future by Bridging Science & AI (Ancestral Intelligence)
The session poses the question:
What if Nature has a seat at the table
whenever we strategise, plan, collaborate, create?
As North American Indian, Casey Camp-Horinek said at the 2024 Bioneers Conference, we ARE Nature! (and Paul Polman, ex CEO of Unilever agrees).
The Case Study is about a remote community we can all learn from. As Dr Héctor Rodriguez explains to Yoshimi and Jon, The more you go to marginalized areas or to marginalized experiences, the more knowledge and wisdom you will bring to your own project. Immerse a little bit in how that team or group or community is doing something similar to what you are doing, but with no budget, no technology and learn from them.
The Case Study is a metaphor, a reflection of what's happening at many of our Boardroom tables in the context of our radically changing and uncertain times. The study introduces Emérgéntly, a framework that challenges us to reset mindsets around our connection with Nature. The session captures the essence of Emérgéntly and how it bridges the wisdom of science and AI (Ancestral Intelligence).
AI is a valuable resource, with Nature herself being the most ancient Ancestral Intelligence. The case study illustrates how Emérgéntly spirals through the Elements: Fire energises, Earth solidifies, Water unifies, Air transforms. Nature guides us through a regenerative process that helps us clarify what to do. Ancestral Intelligence reminds us: When we heal Nature, we heal ourselves. When we heal ourselves, we heal Nature.
To set context for what Nature has to say to us, listen to her - be reminded - and do something to heal her and ourselves: https://thefountain.earth/
Given that each of us is only briefly visiting this planet, what does it mean to be a good visitor?
We can learn so much from the science of Nature. As Dr. Suzanne Simard discovered: [trees] weren't in a massive fierce competition like the corporate model said. No, they actually help each other. They're a community, they're social!
Emérgéntly uses Nature as a metaphor that helps us make sense of science and the wisdom of Ancestral Intelligence.

Just as it is important to become "street-wise" in our car infested cities, we must also become "info-wise" in our mis-information infested social media.
